Unique Distinctive One-of-a-Kind
The materials I choose are extremely unique - especially for pens.
Since I am a One Man Shop and ALL of my pens are made solely by my hands. My goal is to acquire and work with some of the most rare and unusual woods and media I can find.
It's more than simply choosing a wood or material because you are attracted to its name. To do it right, you have to see, feel, and hold it. It has to be looked at on all sides. Turned at all angles. Compared in various lights. And, even after all of that, one must hope for the best after turning and finishing.
Here are a number of the types of materials I work with...

Albino Snake*
Amboyna
